About me

It is some years ago but it's still me!

I am not sure that a presentation of oneself it's a good way to describe oneself, I mean, it depends by who is presenting yourself, and I think it's quite boring speaking about oneself. So I feel that a good way of presenting oneself it's speaking about one's own dreams. But since I've got too many dreams, it's better don't confuse you and present a more humble short biography of the last years.

My name is Guido Sbrogiò, I grew up  in north-west of Italy, in the region called Piemonte. But since after college I attended university degree in the city of Padova, close to Venice. I studied Physics and Astronomy, and after many years of studies and a thesis on the development of a device to detect biological damage from radiation on the International Space Station, I decided to change my career and put all myself on bike travels and experiments with ecovillages and permaculture. At the end I finished my long years of vagabondage with the decision to enroll again in the university, but this time studying human rights and international right. I worked also for a couple of years with the asylum seekers and refugees during the emergency in the Mediterranean Sea in the 2017-2019.

Currently I'm volunteering in the Italian Red Cross, I'm working on a couple of startup project for implementing web tools to local communities and for the strengthening of ecovillage networks in Italy and Europe and in the spared time I'm still trying finish my second path in the university world. But is becoming always more certain that my fate it will always be on the trail, on the road and in the sea, always aiming for adventures. I trying to compensate this living in my city Padova with my friends and going around with my caravan for some escapada turistica, always waiting the moment for setting forth for the big route.
